Shipping Policy

Shipping policy:

** Free shipping nationwide.

Circumstances that are unforeseen or beyond Medallion Interior’s control may result

in changes to the agreed delivery date and time of which the customer will be

telephonically informed and alternative arrangements will be made.

The customer is required to inspect products on delivery.

The customer or the person taking delivery on behalf of the customer will be required

to produce a valid identity document (ID card, Driver’s licence, passport) sign a proof

of delivery (POD) and the Own collection indemnity (OCI). Unless indicated to the

contrary on the POD, it is deemed that the product has been delivered and received

in good condition and, where appropriate, in accordance with the customer’s

specifications.

Should you wish to change any of your delivery instructions, please discuss this with

our consultant.

 

Shipping and delivery can be expected between 2-5 working days depending on

location. Should you not be available on the scheduled date of delivery, and the

delivery vehicle has to return with your products, a re-scheduled delivery will be

arranged, and an additional delivery fee will be charged. Specific delivery times

cannot be made or agreed to at the time of order, and Medallion Interiors does not

deliver on Sundays and public holidays.

A premium charge will be affected on Saturday deliveries and on deliveries that are

required sooner than the above stipulated days.

Return & Exchange Policy

Medallion Interiors has a no refund policy but will exchange any damaged or flawed

products returned in an unused condition within 10 days of purchase. Product

exchanges requiring delivery will be transported to the original delivery address

within South Africa. Hand-made Persian carpets can be exchanged up to 50% of the

original value under the condition that it has been purchased by Medallion Interiors

 

or Fars Oriental Carpets, with a valid invoice from either company. Persian carpets

can only be considered for exchange if they fall within 10 years of the purchased

date on a valid invoice. Persian carpets can only be considered for exchange if they

are in good condition, in which case an assessment and evaluation will be done on

the carpet(s) and value will be deducted depending on repairs, washing,

maintenance, restorations, refringing, recolouring, and deodorising that need to be

done.

It is acknowledged that exchanges are subject to product availability at the time of

the request for exchange. Medallion Interiors will check the condition of products

presented for exchange or returned as in accordance with Shipping and Collection

paragraphs (whichever is applicable) products are deemed to have been supplied in

good condition as checked by the customer at the time of purchase, delivery or

collection.

Medallion Interiors is unable to exchange goods where product characteristics and/or

imperfections were pointed out prior to purchase. Handling fees may be applicable to

exchanges/returns. For public health reasons, Medallion Interiors cannot accept the

return of some items.

No special orders will be subject to exchange/cancellation/return/refund. Physically

altered or partially disassembled products may not be returned. Should the customer

change their mind about a purchase, but the product is unflawed or undamaged

Medallion Interiors is not obliged to accept the return. Products purchased during the

annual sale will be subject to the terms and the conditions of the sale.
